Cookie policy
What the application stores in your browser and why.

Sign-in and security cookies
These cookies support sign-in and request security. Their lifetimes are configurable for each deployment; the table shows the defaults.
| Cookie | What it does | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
gz_at | Authenticates signed-in requests. Scripts cannot read this cookie. | 15 minutes by default | Essential |
gz_rt | Renews your session. Scripts cannot read this cookie. | 30 days by default; 90 days with Remember me | Essential |
gz_csrf | Helps protect requests that change data from cross-site request forgery. | 30 days by default | Essential |
Local and session storage
Browser storage is separate from cookies. Local storage stays until you clear it or the application replaces or removes an entry. Session storage belongs to the current browser tab and normally clears when that tab closes.
| Key | Storage | What it does |
|---|---|---|
theme | Local storage | Remembers your light or dark theme. |
gz_auth_side | Local storage | Remembers whether you selected job seeker or employer on the sign-in page. |
gz:session:refresh-after | Local storage | Coordinates session refresh attempts between browser tabs; it does not store a sign-in token. |
growtriz:assistant-widget | Local storage | Remembers whether you tucked away the assistant widget. |
growtriz:assistant-history:… | Session storage | Keeps recent assistant messages for the current session and audience in this tab. |
What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. No cross-site pixels. We do not sell your browsing behaviour, so there is nothing for those cookies to do.
Turning them off
You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing sign-in cookies signs you out, and blocking them prevents sign-in from working. Clearing preference storage resets your saved choices; clearing assistant session storage removes the conversation saved in that tab.
